Joni Dolce

Hi, my name is Joni Dolce and I am an Assistant Professor with IEI.  I have been working in the supported employment field for several years.  During this time, I have seen the many positive changes that going back to work and school can have on someone’s life.   This career has allowed me to see the tremendous spirit in people to strive and persevere in spite of some devastating circumstances.  One of my most pleasurable tasks in life, however, is being a mom to my two wonderful children.  I love spending time outdoors with my family—-going for walks, geocaching (it’s like going on a treasure hunt—Google it!), canoeing, bicycling, and boating.   When I can’t get outside, I enjoy cooking and baking with my kids (their favorite is making dim sum) and enjoying a good indie movie with my husband.
