We are the Integrated Employment Institute (IEI) in the Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Counseling Professions at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. IEI is dedicated to improving career services for people with the lived experience of psychiatric disability. We believe employment and education are critical to recovery. We believe a recovery oriented mental health system addresses employment and educational goals and support needs for the people it serves. IEI provides customized training, technical assistance, staff mentoring and other services that organizations and staff need to support quality career outcomes among the people they serve.
